It only took a little over a minute for Lauren to score the first goal, of a battle that saw the girls down by 3 at the end of the first period
Just a 1:12 seconds was all it took, when Lauren got the first goal of the game, it was a nifty pass from Reagan and Katie that set the goal up. Unfortunatley London came back just 9 seconds later and tied things up at 1, then again London stole the ring in open ice came in on Courtney and tucked it in on the short side.
The girls settled into the period exchanging numerous shots with London, but they were just to strong for the girls to handle. The first period ended with a score of 4-1.
Starting the second period short handed the girls held London at bay, and it wasn't until the 8 minute mark that we put the pressure back on London, and scored to make it a 2 goal deficit. But London was not done yet, because they just walked down the ice and in 7 seconds put one in. Brianne scored her second goal of the game with just 26 seconds left on the clock with a strong unassisted effort, that left the london coaches asking if she moves up to junior next year.
The girls should all be credited for the way they played today!
Keep up the hard work Ladies the wins will come.
