Higgs Earns Shutout With Clinic In London

The U19 squad came out a little slow on Friday night in London, but netminder Briar Higgs kept the team in the contest with some incredible saves.

This was truly a team effort with everyone on the ice working together and creating some excellent passing and scoring plays.

London 2 got into some penalty trouble as well which didn't help their cause.

Goderich scorers included Holly Ryan, Shayla Mathers with two tallies, Chandal Cunningham and Katie O'Brien. 

Helpers  went to Jessica Hummel, Ashley Johnson, Jenna Pentland, Callie Berry, Abby Hoy, Carling MacKenzie, Meredith Needles and Marijke Oudshoorn.

The team next hits the ice Sunday morning for a practice before travelling East to meet Seaforth at 6:30 pm that same day.
