Ringette Day 2024 and 40th Anniversary Celebrations

Hello Ringette Families, 

 

We are really excited to be celebrating Goderich Ringette Association's 40th Anniversary this year. Our Goderich Ringette Day team and Goderich Executive have decided to celebrate this awesome event on our Goderich Ringette Day weekend!!

 

SO SAVE THE DATE: Friday, October 25th and Saturday, October 26th.

 

Friday, October 25th:

6:15pm - Opening Ceremony (more details to follow - and a most exciting unveiling at the YMCA to honour Ringette)

7:00pm - GRA Alumni Game - come and watch all the former GRA players back on the ice for a FUN game!!! If you were a former player chat with your old teammates and connect with any one on exec about securing your spot - the more the merrier!!

 

Saturday, October 26th:

9:00am - on there will be games all day at the YMCA for all our current GRA players.

Schedule to be announced very soon.

 

10am-4pm - Gym available - there will be fun games to play, shooting competitions and hardest shot competitions as well. Snippety the Clown will be painting faces until 2pm and at 2pm she will be performing a magic show!!

 

All day - raffle basket draw, food for sale, merchandise, bake sale and our 40th Anniversary Celebration display will be set up.

 

KID'S DANCE - we will also be hosting our annual Kid's Dance - this year at GDCI. DJ Dan is back to help hype up all our kiddos and dance out some of the sugar! It is always a GREAT night and the kids have a blast.

 

How can you help?? To make this day successful we need LOTS of volunteers. Students can help us with the clock and music, we need people to assist at the vendor tables, setting up the dance, supervising the gym activities - let us know if you can help out.

Last year our Goderich Ringette Day raised over $7,500 for our organization. This money goes to help us pay for ice times, referees, tournaments and to keep our registration fees affordable so our children can play the game  they love.

 

We are looking forward to an AMAZING weekend to highlight our children and all the former GRA alumni that has made our organization awesome for the past 40 years!!
