RESPECT IN SPORT - PARENT PROGRAM
Ringette Ontario is announcing that one parent of every ringette player under the age of 18 is required to take the Respect in Sport Parent Program before participating in ringette programming. This course is mandatory to have the Player’s registration approved.
The Respect in Sport Parent Program is a one-hour online module for parents/guardians, reinforcing their role in their child’s activities, encouraging positive sport behaviors, and providing insight into the various roles other individuals play, such as coaches and officials.
This program empowers parents to:
* Ensure the safety of their children.
* Encourage positive and effective communication.
* Enhance a child's overall enjoyment of Ringette.
The online course costs $12 and is transferable to other sports.
The deadline to complete the course is November 1st/2023 in order for your player to continue in ringette sanctioned activities.
Once you receive your certificate number, please email it to Brian Hesse (bhesse2166@gmail.com) or Jenni Arthur (hennie_38@hotmail.com) so it may be added to your RAMP profile.
